Day 1 – Delhi / Chandigarh / Dehradun to Shimla (Overnight Stay)

Start your Himalayan escape with a scenic drive from Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun towards Shimla. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, stroll through Mall Road, The Ridge, and Christ Church, soaking in Shimla’s colonial charm and pine-scented air.

Day 2 – Shimla to Rohru (115 Kms / 5–6 Hrs)

After breakfast, embark on a beautiful countryside drive to Rohru, located on the banks of the sparkling Pabbar River. En route, stop at Kharapathar, a lesser-known viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of apple orchards and forested ridges. Arrive in Rohru by afternoon and check into your stay. Spend the evening walking along the riverbanks or visiting the local market.

Day 3 – Rohru to Kharshali via Chanshal Pass (75 Kms / 5–6 Hrs)

After breakfast, begin your drive towards the enchanting Kharshali village, crossing the mighty Chanshal Pass (3,750 m) — the highest point in Shimla district. The road winds through dense deodar forests and opens into vast meadows blanketed in wildflowers or snow, depending on the season.
Spend time at the top soaking in 360° mountain views, then descend to Kharshali, a hidden Himalayan hamlet known for its traditional wooden houses and calm atmosphere. Enjoy the serene evening amidst nature.

Day 4 – Kharshali Exploration & Return to Rohru

Wake up to birdsong and mountain mist in Kharshali. After breakfast, take a walk through the village lanes, interact with locals, and visit the ancient wooden temple dedicated to Lord Shikru Devta, a symbol of Himachali devotion and artistry. Later, begin your journey back to Rohru, retracing the scenic mountain route. Evening at leisure.

Day 5 – Rohru to Shimla

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Shimla. En route, stop for short breaks at Hatkoti Temple and Pabbar River viewpoint. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening. You can shop for local handicrafts or take a short café walk at Mall Road.

Day 6 – Shimla to Delhi / Chandigarh/Dehradun Departure

After breakfast, check out and start your return journey towards Delhi/Dehradun or Chandigarh, bringing home memories of the wild, wind-swept meadows of Chanshal and the quiet grace of Kharshali.
